Mary Caldwell founded Aging Savvy after seeing how often families facing dementia are left without meaningful guidance in an overburdened healthcare system.
Her work offers something many families are told they cannot find: a knowledgeable, steady partner who helps them make thoughtful decisions at every stage of the journey.
With a background in social work, a master’s degree in gerontology, and more than 14 years of experience supporting dementia caregivers, Mary works closely with families to untangle complex situations, reduce stress, and create practical plans that protect quality of life and valuable retirement resources.
Aging Savvy provides ethical, personalized, evidence-based guidance for families who want more than referrals—they want a trusted guide.

You Don’t Have to Navigate Dementia Alone
Too many families are left to navigate dementia without guidance. Aging Savvy exists to provide clarity, direction, and compassionate expert support from the earliest concerns through every stage of the journey.

Person Centered Guidance
With deep experience supporting families through Alzheimer’s and related diagnoses, Mary offers thoughtful assessment, practical care planning, education, and coordination—helping caregivers move forward with clarity and confidence.

A Confident Path Forward
Aging Savvy provides personalized dementia care consultations and ongoing support to help families move from uncertainty to clarity and action. Services include assessment, care planning, education, and trusted connections to specialists and community resources—available in person or virtually.

When memory changes begin, families are often left without clear direction. Medical visits focus on diagnosis—
but not always on what to do next.
Aging Savvy provides something different: specialized guidance from a gerontologist who has spent more than a decade helping individuals and families navigate dementia across healthcare systems, community programs, and early-stage Alzheimer’s education.
